Fin is an excellent practitioner who has great talent for getting the very best out of the pupils that he works with. He has a very warm, respectful and encouraging manner which pupils respond to well. Fin is able to teach his craft in such a way that pupils are able to learn a great deal in an enjoyable way. He is able to work well with all year groups at secondary level and understands the framework of schools and timetables.

Fin is able to create scripts with pupils that captures their voice and ideas so they feel a real sense of ownership and pride in the work. Mulberry school has worked with a wealth of artists in residence and Fin is certainly one of the best we have had. I would thoroughly recommend him.

I first employed Fin as a Workshop Leader for an Almeida Theatre project at Islington Green School in January 2004. He was asked to devise a series of workshops for Year 10 GCSE Drama students, the outcome of which was for the entire group to have produced a jointly written script, based upon David Eldridge’s adaptation of Festen, for professional actors to perform on the Almeida stage.

Fin has a natural rapport with young people and an instinct for friendly but firm classroom management, which makes for a calm and focused learning environment.

I would not hesitate to collaborate with Fin again, and I recommend him unreservedly.
