South Of The River Charlie People are cunts. Jane Happy birthday. In a modest terraced house in south-east London, four young Londoners celebrate the first of their number turning thirty. As they gorge themselves on food and drugs in the midsummer city heat, a police standoff with local gangs at the end of their street turns ugly. Then there’s a knock at the door.
